Mr. Hansen Narinesingh is a forward-thinking professional and passionate advocate for workers' rights, education, and sustainable development. Following the United National Congress's (UNC) victory in the 2025 general elections, he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Claxton Bay—a constituency formerly known as Pointe-à-Pierre and appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills Training under Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar's administration.
An Attorney-at-Law and Human Resource Specialist, Narinesingh brings extensive expertise in Industrial Relations, Employment Law, and Organizational Development. He currently serves as the Chief Human Resource Officer at CGA Ltd, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategies and promoting employee well-being.
Internationally, Mr. Narinesingh has represented Trinidad and Tobago at high-level forums, including speaking engagements at the Trinidad High Commission in Ottawa, Canada, and the Craft Clusters Forum in Bogotá, Colombia, showcasing his global awareness and diplomacy.
Academically accomplished, he holds an LLB from the University of London, a Legal Practice Certificate from De Montfort University (UK), a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. These qualifications fuel his well-rounded approach to public service, grounded in law, business, and education.
In his current role, Mr. Narinesingh is dedicated to enhancing Trinidad and Tobago's tertiary education landscape, focusing on skills training and workforce development to meet the evolving needs of the nation.
